League Benefits

  1. Play all games at the Brewster Sports Center - 3 full court hardwood floors, overhead scoreboards, scorer’s table. You come first at BSC - no hassles with local gyms, substandard facilities, local refs, and competing organizations/priorities.
  2. MAKE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE
  3. Top Certified referees - experienced high school, college and AAU officials.
  4. League administrators are present at every game and are available 7 days a week in the event that a problem develops.
  5. Highly experienced and dedicated personnel who always attempt to be responsive and fairly administer the super league.
  6. Schedules and game results will be posted and updated on a regular basis on our website: www.brewstersportscenter.com.
  7. Play in a modern facility with comfortable viewing and seating, including snack bar service.

 

HS Basketball Super League Rules

  1. Two 20 minute running time halves. Clock stops the last minute of each half. Note: 5 Minutes for halftime.
  2. A player fouls out after his 5th.
    a) One and one bonus on the (10th) team fouls per half.
    b) Double bonus on twelfth (12th) team foul per half. On the foul shot we play the rim.
  3. Forfeit time will be 10 minutes after scheduled game time. A team can start a game with 4 players. If a team forfeits a game they must pay a $70 fine (which would cover the referee fee) before their next scheduled game. (Failure to pay fine will result in automatic expulsion from league). Any team forfeiting 2 games during the season will be automatically dropped from the league.
  4. Rosters are limited to 12 players only.
  5. The officials have been instructed to call a tight game so games stay under control.
  6. Players must wear team shirt that is supplied by the league. No player will be allowed to play in a game without his team shirt! Replacement cost for shirt is $10.00.
  7. Teams should conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner at all times. Brewster Sports Center reserves the right to exclude any player that does not conduct himself in a manner befitting the high standards of the Brewster Sports Center.
  8. Fighting – A player engaged in a fight will be automatically ejected from the game and gym. He will also be suspended for the next game. A second infraction will result in expulsion for the remainder of the season and the playoffs.
  9. Abusive language will not be tolerated. Either directed at the officials or other players. This will lead to the player being ejected from the game and gym.
  10. No protests.
